Cuckold meaning: historically, a man whose wife was unfaithful. The word comes from the cuckoo, which lays its eggs in another bird’s nest, and it was an insult in English for six hundred years before the internet reclaimed it. In its modern sense it describes a consensual arrangement: a man who knows his partner is with someone else, and who finds that arousing rather than wounding.
